  • Summer 2024 Opportunities
  • New Translation Phone Lines in TPS’ Top Five Languages

Graduation + Senior Spotlights

We have continued the tradition of publishing a “Senior Spotlight” from each Tulsa Public Schools high school, recognizing a senior and their postsecondary plans.

You can see those spotlights at tulsaschools.org/classof2024. This is also your go-to resource for graduation ceremony times, locations, and other details. Commencement week begins May 13th, and we are so much looking forward to celebrating this milestone with our 2024 graduating seniors and their families and communities!

Congratulations to graduating seniors for demonstrating English language proficiency

We are so proud of our seniors! Almost 500 students will be receiving blue honor cords from Tulsa Public Schools team language and cultural services to celebrate their attainment of English language proficiency on the WIDA ACCESS test during your school career. Look for blue cords at graduation and congratulate the honorees for their hard work!

New TPS Interpretation Phone Lines for Parents

We are excited to announce the launch of four new interpretation phone lines for parents who speak Hmong, Pashto, Dari, and Marshallese. We have created these interpretation lines to offer our parents direct access to an interpreter over the phone and a greater level of comfort when they need to contact a school or our district offices.

In addition to our Spanish phone line (918-387-8580), the following dedicated phone numbers have been created for Hmong, Pashto, Dari, and Marshallese. To access an interpreter, parents need to dial the corresponding phone number and their call will be automatically routed to an available professional interpreter who will remain with them on the line for the entire duration of the call.

  • Hmong Line: (918) 771-9617
  • Pashto Line:  (918) 771-9382
  • Dari Line: (918) 890-1439
  • Marshallese Line: (918) 228-4944
  • Spanish Line: (918) 387-8580
